January in London

Not quite Xmas in NY, but equally as dark and cold. Actually, both have been pretty mild the last two months. It has been consistently 11-13 degrees in London the last few weeks, quite warm for the middle of Jan. But, it couldn't last! Today is freezing - and its suppose to stay 4-6* for the next few days.

Jan's been pretty quiet so far. As you know, we had a great time in Morocco and have just been enjoying a few quiet weekends the last few weeks. Fiona and I went out and about a bit this past weekend, out for breakfast, little bit of shopping, meeting up with friends for coffee. Had Sully and Dave over for a Sunday roast, and we then watched the Gunner give Moan United a good shallacking! Ha ha, very poetic! Had a nice afternoon and went and watched some comedy Sunday night.

Again, pretty quiet few weeks ahead - although we are meeting up with Erin (who is down visiting from Dublin) on Sunday, birthday drinks for a work colleague the following Friday, and more birthday drinks in early Feb. Still training hard for the triathlon etc, have lost a fair bit of weight over the past 12 months (while in NZ too) so am feeling really good.

And today we booked our next holiday in Holland :-) Two days in Amsterdam , Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank House, canal's etc; and then one day in the Hague, mostly to see the M C Escher permanent exhibition and museum! Should be a great weekend, we can't wait! Only 10 days until I can send in our visa extension application, so fingers crossed.

So anyway, not really too much exiting going on. Keep the emails coming! I know its nice and warm in NZ - and we're always keen to hear what our friends and family are up to.
